Sin Part 1



I was reading the bible one day and I ran across this scripture 2 Corinthians 13:5 “Do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?”. It literally blew my mind and made me think “if Jesus lives inside of me, I don’t want him exposed to sin. Jesus is like a parent. We don’t want our parents knowing the sins we commit, but we have no problem taking God along for the ride. When we listen to music that we would be embarrassed for our parents to listen to, we need to be think about Jesus. He is too holy to be caught in the sin we drag him along in. Jesus is our father but when it comes to sin, I think of him as my child. I don’t want my child watching porn so I need to be protecting him from it. Usually when we sin, its for our benefit. We were created to worship God, not ourselves. We do what is right to please God. When he is pleased, he blesses us.
